Mandera Governor bans all movements within the County
Mandera Governor has banned all public movements within the County in a bid to curb the spread of COVID-19. The move comes in the wake of 2 confirmed cases and dozen others currently in quarantine. The cases in Mandera are expected to increase in the following weeks as the County awaits results of several samples sent to Nairobi. Governor Ali Roba had earlier on requested the Ministry of health to set up a sample collection centre in Mandera to speed up testing. Currently infections in Kenya stand at 179, 6 deaths and 9 recoveries.
