Garissa leaders move to court to oppose the Transfer of Teachers by TSC
Garissa leaders have vowed to go to court to contest the mass transfer of teachers from the region. The leaders led by Governor Korane will be forced to take action and demand their rights from the corridors of justice. The leaders have condemned the Teachers Service Commission for denying learners their rights to education by transferring teachers each time there are insecurity concerns. The leaders have insisted they do not want to deal with TSC again and they will work on modalities to employ their own teachers who will serve their children and end the crisis that is being perpetuated by TSC. The leaders have also called upon the Government to bring to effect the affirmative action that had been initiated by CS Amina allowing students from marginalized areas to pursue teaching courses with lower grades.
