A former Presidential aspirant Mr Jaffer Isaak Sora has been arrested with 445KG of bhang with a street value of Kshs. 13 million as reported by Marsabit Police. Mr. Jaffer who was apparently with his campaign car has been nabbed at a check point near Marsabit and his vehicle found to have been carrying suspicious packages which were said to be bhang. Mr Jaffer refused the police search before his car was towed to Marsabit Police Station and he was escorted to the station and the drugs discovered. According to the Police, Mr. Jaffer could be one of the drug-barons who was in their watch list and his arrest is a big win in ensuring the North is free of illicit drugs. Marsabit County Police boss Ambrose Steve Oloo confirmed his arrest when he spoke to journalists this morning. “I don’t care about his status in the community. I have arrested a criminal and I will treat him as one,” said the Police Boss.
