Police arrest two with alleged fake currency

Two individuals have been arrested by detectives in Isiolo over alleged posession of fake currency notes and gold weighing 5 Kilograms. The two were nabbed by detectives who are believed to have been trailing them. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations confirmed the arrest of the two on its official twitter handle.

The two, Abdi Mohamed aged 24 and Abdullahi Hassan aged 23 are being held by police for further questioning before being produced in court to answer to charges of money laundering. The fake currencies are in Euros a d detectives believe the two were planning to exchange them with local currencies.
