Wajir Governor Homes Raided in 350 Million Corruption Allegation

The two homes of Wajir Governor Mohamed Abdi Mohamud in Wajir and Nairobi’s Spring Valley were ransacked by anti-corruption officers in pursuit of a 350 million they claim was misappropriated by his administration. The homes of Kenya Commercial Bank Wajir branch Mr Sayid Ibrahim and Wajir’s head of treasury wife Jeff Mworia were also raided. Documents were confiscated including imprest and procurement documentation.

Speaking to some of the residents they say it was long overdue.
