2 legislatures arrested over Marsabit clashes
North Horr M.P Chachu Ganya and Saku M.P Major Raso have this morning been arrested by detectives in respect to the Marsabit clashes. The two are expected to answer charges in respect to the fights on going in Marsabit.
The Director of Criminal Investigations George Kinoti said that the two legislatures will be taken to Nairobi Headquarter and are expected to answer to charges of incitement. The clashes between the two communities has so far taken the lives of 10 people and scores have been forced to leave their homes. Last week several leaders from Marsabit were grilled over their alleged role in the clashes.
