Living Goods Withdraws From Isiolo County Health Partnership Program

Amid controversy and immediately after County assembly issued a press conference in which they clarified the County’s engagement with Living Goods, the company released a statement informing the county that it has withdrawn from the arrangement because of what it called ”bringing disrepute to the Company’s name”

In the last month there were what the company and the county assembly called ”malicious propaganda by some politicians against a program that could see Isiolo residents access quality health care”

The arrangement between Living Goods and the County government of Isiolo was petitioned in the Senate by the County senator Hon Fatuma Dhulo. The company said the petition has put Living Goods credibility in doubt and regrettably withdraws its agreement to provide services in collaboration with the county government.

The letter addressed to Governor Kuti by the Deputy County Director- Community Health Partnership Ruth Ngechu, however appeared to be asking the county government for directions on the way forward and has asked the Governor ” to feel free to revert”.
