Revamp The Marriage Section of The Chief Khadi Act, Says Sheikh Suqyan
Deputy chief Khadi called for a revamp of the marriage section of the Khadi’s Act. Sheikh Suqyan Osman said the act needs strengthening as it only mentions and addresses a small part of the huge marriage section. He called for the simplification of the wedding ceremonies as the smaller the dowry the more tranquil the challenges of a married life. The deputy chief Khadi who is also the Voi khadi was speaking at a wedding ceremony of the son of former Garissa governor Nathif Jamaa and daughter of Sheikh Nuh and Zeynab Haji Dahir of Mandera who are the parents of Minority whip Junet Sheikh Nuh.
Attendees included the Interior Security minister Dr Fred Matiangi, opposition leader Hon Raila Odinga, former Garissa governor Nathif Jamaa, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Minority whip Hon Junet Sheikh Nuh, Sports ministry Chief Administration Secretary Hassan Noor, and members of parliament from various constituencies.
The leader of opposition called for unity. The wiper leader encouraged polygamy so that our Kenyan population can continue to grow.
