Senator Dullo faults the MOU signed by Isiolo Governor
Senator Fatuma Dullo has come out strongly against the MOU signed by the County Government with Private Health Providers today. The Senator has cited lack of public participation insisting that the County has locked out the residents of Isiolo County in its new Public Private Partnership deal. Ms. Dullo has asked Isiolo residents to reject the new deal which will undergo piloting for 6 months.
The Deputy Senate Majority leader has urged the County Assembly to reject the proposed bill for the PPP and has urged them to go back to the drawing board and make public all the necessary information as per the deal. “Citizens have a right to information and it is the responsibility of the County to provide the same to them,” she reiterated. The vocal legislator has vowed to play her oversight role and has cautioned the County leadership against open disregard of public participation.
